Customer Reviews

A great experience and awesome staff that were full of energy! - Brandon de Lange

We really enjoyed our experience - the staff were brilliant, helpful and courteous, every step of the way. I'm really glad that we booked the trip and would certainly recommend it. - Caryn Leroy

Hi Such a lovely way to introduce our friends from Kwa-Zulu Natal to the beautiful wine farms in our area. They were blown away by it and your "on-time" efficiency of how you run the tram. Thank you. That's why we love the Cape so much. - gerald truter

From the Cape Town Tourism Team: Educational - 12 June 2019 We were picked at about +-08:50 from the airport, went to Somerset west to pick Petro and then straight to Franschhoek via Stellenbosch. We arrived just on time around +-10:15 at the Ticket boot/Kiosk, very well received by the staff. We could see they were really expecting us, very friendly people I must say. We were then given our tickets for the Pink Route, 10h45 was our departure time and we were then taken to a bus which transferred us to the Tram. When we arrived at the Tram we were also welcomed by a guide and the driver, everyone one was given a glass of wine and the excitement started for some of us . There are several different tours to choose from, all visiting different wineries/vineyards, for us because we had an itinerary we could only follow it, and our first stop was at Leopards Leap Winery. We had excellent commentary on the Tram and the buses by very knowledgeable guides that gave us lots of information before getting off to hop on the Tram or buses. Leopard’s Leap Winery (where we had a fantastic lunch at the South African Table) was an amazing place very modern, very welcoming fantastic venue for any event, good food, good wines, friendly people and we were actually blessed enough that The Chef and Wine Maker were both present to tell us more about the food and wine. We had a great time, both the wine maker and the chef was very nice friendly and informative. Leopards Leap is not just place to taste wine, they have: gift shop, different boardrooms, artistic wine tasting table, there’s a playground for the kids outside just make sure you don’t forget your kids after few glasses , the building on the inside is an art of its own, very clean and staff are just amazing smiling and willing to help all the times. Regards At 14:18 we departed for the Franschhoek Cellars, the bus took us back to the Tram which also connected us with another bus to the Franschhoek Cellars. As we walked in the two ladies stood up smiling, I think they could easily recognise us with our uniform , very nice people, took us on guided cellar tour, and showed us their cottages very nice cottages indeed, walking distance to the cellar, they also have a playground for the kids which is very popular for the visitors. They also have a conference venue and restaurant. We did wine tasting paired with chocolates, very busy place with visitors, restaurant was almost full. I can will highly recommend the Tram to visit these fantastic wine farms, especially the Leopards Leap and Franschhoek Cellars, we had a good experience indeed. - Illse Jacobs - Cape Town Tourism

Despite the cold wet weather an excellent day. The organization of the tram and buses was superb, the staff friendly and efficient. The wine farms friendly and helpful. Have told a lot of people about the day and highly recommended it. - Jonathan Evans
