We were a group of six who recently took part in the Exceptional Wine & Cuisine Experience, and it truly exceeded all expectations. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Simon, our guide for the day, whose friendly and engaging manner set the tone from the very beginning. Throughout the day, he was consistently approachable, knowledgeable, and attentive. He had a wonderful ability to bring the entire group, 11 of us in total, together, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. Simon's expertise and genuine kindness made the experience truly unforgettable. If I had the opportunity to do the tour again, I wouldn't hesitate to choose him as our guide. The entire day was perfectly timed and seamlessly organised, and we felt incredibly welcome and well looked after throughout, much of which is a credit to Simon. Every vineyard we visited was fantastic in its own way, and the food and wine pairings were excellent and thoughtfully curated. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the vineyards of Franschhoek. It's the perfect introduction to the area and provides a great foundation for further exploration, something we would have loved to do if we'd had more time. - Karen

We had an absolutely brilliant day on the Wine Tram! If you only have one day in the valley, this is 100% the best way to do it. The best part is the total peace of mind: no planning, no stress about timing, and you are always guaranteed a table at the estates because everything is pre-arranged for you. Our host on the tram was incredibly friendly and shared so much local knowledge. We visited three beautiful estates: Pasarene: A fantastic start! We had a wonderful host who gave us an excellent, in-depth explanation of the winery and the wine pairing. You can really feel the passion and expertise here. Grande Provence: A stunning location where we were even allowed to see the cellar where the wines are stored. It was very impressive, although it would have been the ultimate 'cherry on top' if we could have tasted something directly from the barrel in that space! Mont Rochelle: The location is lovely, but this stop felt a bit rushed. We were served the wines and desserts immediately with a very brief explanation, which felt like a 'hurry up and move on' experience. It was a bit of a shame for the final stop. Despite the rushed ending, the overall experience was top-notch. It's a seamless way to enjoy the scenery and world-class wines. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area! - Monica

Absolutely incredible experience. One of our favourite activities across our whole 2 week trip to South Africa. The food was of a really high quality and so much of it - don't have breakfast before you come! We were a small group of 8 and we were really lucky with our group - all lovely people. There was a wide variety of wines to taste and again generous portions. I couldn't recommend this more. - Alison
