Nice experience with lot of good wines - Mattias
From start to finish our experience was first class. The service we received was excellent- sampling our first wine from the Rickety Bridge winery whilst on board the tram. We visited four vineyards in total, each one offering a uniquely different experience with cheese, savoury or chocolate pairings. Our second stop was Grand Provence where we enjoyed spending time in the museum reading up on the treasures and artefacts on view after sampling more local wines and snacks. Our third stop was the Franschoek Cellars where we enjoyed our first chocolate pairings. Our final stop via the bus was to Maison - the lovely grounds with free roaming hens and their chicks ensured a longer stay so we added a few gourmet snacks to our wine selections - charcuterie board and wood fired pizzas among others were delicious. After our final stop we were ferried back to the terminal to reflect on a great adventure. We could have seen a few more vineyards but didn't feel we could benefit from any more wine tasting on the day. Thank you to all the team and Bati in particular who was very helpful and informative. - Angela
amazing - Salma
What a wonderful idea! The ability to be able to visit several vineyards to taste their wines without worrying about driving was brilliant. The service was spot on time, every time and was a real fun experience. With other guests following the same wine route as ourselves we got to make many new friends on the day. A great experience all round. - David
A pleasant experience, something that should be done if you visit Franschhoek. We only travelled on the Tram, which is a short run up and down the line, but it's well run and ties in with the various vineyards and their own transports to their wineries. It got quite busy at one point but everyone got on board. - NEIL
