In order to properly exercise their duties, the Franschhoek Wine Tram staff members place a legitimate expectation on all guests not to behave in an unacceptably loud, disruptive, offensive, or intoxicated manner. Should any such behaviour be exhibited the Franschhoek Wine Tram reserves its right to suspend or withdraw its services. All vehicles are fitted with CCTV and monitored throughout the service.

Customer Reviews

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Grateful to Imihlali for being the best guide ever! :) - Phindile

My husband and I had a fabulous experience. A well-organised transport system is in place, which runs very smoothly and seamlessly, from start to end. (from the wine bus trip, to the train and then on to the wine tractor, transporting us to the various wine farms We thoroughly enjoyed all the wine farms we visited on our route, and savoured all the products on offer which we tried, i.e the delicious smoked trout and freshly baked bread at Haute- Cabriere, wine and fudge pairing at Grand Provence. cheese and wine pairing at Franschhoek Cellar, etc. Then of course there was the beautiful African designed tote, which we could use to carry the wine and bread we purchased, in. The weather was absolutely beautiful too. All in all an experience we wouldn't mind repeating. - Adele

Had a really great day out with the red line. Everyone was super helpful. My wife is disabled and uses a wheelchair and the staf couldn't have done more to make our day enjoyable . They made her feel special which isn't always the case when we do things like this. And all four of the vineyards we visited are world class and such great value for money. - Andrew

We had a lot of fun and all the wine tastings were extensive and benevolently poured - Sieber

A very well run trip and experience a must do for anyone visiting Cape Town and your beautiful country. - PAUL
