Customer Reviews

The entire experience was just magical. Even though I was alone, I instantly met new people to enjoy the wine with. My final stop Dieu Donne was my favorite. The view and the wines were just spectacular. I can highly recommend Dieu Donne as the last stop. - Jannik

Having experienced the Wine Tram 3 times now on separate occasions, we can thoroughly recommend doing. It has been a wonderful and novel experience to share with our visiting friends from overseas and it has also taken away the risk of driving under the influence from estate to estate. It is worth doing your homework on what the different vineyards offer ie. pairings, tours and restaurants, then choose what line suits your tastes. We rode the Pink Line and did cheese and wine pairings at Rickety Bridge. My husband experienced dressed oysters and Cap Classic pairings at Le Provence, the best oysters he has tasted in years, he said, and lastly chocolate and wine pairings at Franschhoek Cellars, where we also ordered a platter to soak up some of the wine we had consumed that day. We could have continued on to the Tram Bus to visit more wine estates, but we had reached our limit with sampling wines I'm sure there will be more visits to the Wine Tram in the future to share with friends. - Karen

We were very impressed with how organised the wine tram was. The staff were friendly and patiently answered everyone's questions. We really enjoyed the wineries on the pink line -- despite the number of tourists (we were there during Easter weekend), we never had to wait long and never felt rushed. It was a pleasant and fun experience, and we would be happy to return. Thank you to all the staff for being such wonderful South African ambassadors. - Cornelius

Really enjoyed the experience of the Franschhoek Wine Tram/Bus. Despite starting later than planned we were still able to fit in three winery visits. Staff were welcoming and attentive. - Mhairi

Baie dankie dis elke keer n wonderlike ervaring. Groete - Annelie
