Customer Reviews

Everything was great, perfect experience to see and taste all wineyards! - Diehl,

The Wine Tram Orange Line - schedule 1 is an incredible experience! The tram takes you through beautiful vineyards, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery while hopping between carefully selected wineries. Each stop offers unique tastings and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We chose to visit all the wineries but when I go back next time I will choose 3 as we felt rushed towards the end and felt we had to advise the tastings waiters that the tram pick up was close. The guides are knowledgeable and friendly, making the tour even more enjoyable. I found the online information overwhelming and confusing however when you begin your journey it runs like a well oiled machine with the staff being very thorough and informative. It's a fantastic way to explore wine country without the hassle of driving---highly recommended! - Celeste

This really needs to be top of your list if staying in Capetown or the winelands. We picked the earliest start time not thinking we'd be enjoying it so much we'd end up on the last train home. We visited Boschendal for breakfast, babylonestron for wine tasting and snack board, cheese tasting at Bacco and finished off in Verde. It was a perfect day. I'm not a huge wine drinker but there is so much to do and see outside of just wine. One of my favourite memories when visiting Cape Town! - Clare

I've been visiting Cape Town for many years yet this is the first time I have been aboard the wine tram and it was a fantastic experience! We had a lovely day out enjoying beautiful wines in the most picturesque setting. Will definitely be back. - Julie

Highly recommended!! - Lindré
