Customer Reviews

What a perfect day in the Franschhoek valley! The wine tram is always such a treat -- beautiful scenery, friendly hosts, and the joy of hopping between some of the region's most stunning wine farms without worrying about driving. We visited Plasir and Bartinney, both offering stunning views, friendly staff, and exceptional wines. The hop-on, hop-off style made it easy to enjoy each stop without rushing, and the team kept everything running smoothly. Highly recommend the Wine Tram for anyone wanting to discover Franschhoek's wine farms in comfort and style! - Philippa

An absolutely remarkable experience. The personnel at the terminals are exceptional, and the teams on the bus and tram significantly improve the overall experience. This is a must-do activity in the stunning winelands! Thank you for your hospitality! - Claudia

We traveled to Franschhoek during off-season in July. The wine tram was a great way to transport between wineries and wasn't crowded at all (again off season). This was a great way to experience the wineries for our first time in the region. Recommend that no more than 4 wineries are selected to visit in a day - otherwise you will feel rushed. Also, the drops and pick ups are every hour, which seems like a lot of time, but it isn't if you want to do a tasting and make a purchase. Recommend plan your time wisely and decide to purchase quickly :). Once we purchased wine, the attendant collected it on the tram and at the end of the day it was waiting for us at the terminal. This is a nice service that keeps you from managing bottles (or boxes) of wine throughout your day. The area is beautiful, with great wine and food. - martin

From the start to the end, everything ran smoothly! Great staff, friendly and efficient. Well done!! - steven

Very good opportunity to visit some vineyards, having wine tastings, enjoy delicious food - and no car driving!!! Perfect! We'll use it again.... - Kantereit
