Indulge in an unforgettable journey of fine wine, cuisine, and breathtaking landscapes with the Flavours of the Vine Experience. This tram adventure takes you through the Franschhoek Valley, offering curated tastings and a two course lunch at some of the region’s most renowned estates.

THE EXPERIENCE & HIGHLIGHTS
• Depart from the Franschhoek Terminal at 10:30 am.
• Step aboard the iconic Franschhoek Wine Tram for a scenic tram ride, where a carefree day of wine and food awaits.
• Begin your journey with a wine tasting at the first estate.
• Set off to the second estate to indulge in a carefully crafted two-course meal and wine tasting.
• Conclude your experience with an extensive wine pairing at the third estate.
• Enjoy a ride back to the Franschhoek Terminal.

The tour is strictly a wine-tasting experience and does not host celebration events such as birthdays or bachelor/bachelorette parties as the estates visited are primarily wine-tasting venues and not party venues. In order to properly exercise their duties, the Franschhoek Wine Tram staff members place a legitimate expectation on all guests not to behave in an unacceptably loud, disruptive, offensive, or intoxicated manner. Should any such behaviour be exhibited the Franschhoek Wine Tram reserves its right to suspend or withdraw its services. All vehicles are fitted with CCTV and monitored throughout the service.

CANCELLATION POLICY (All services including chauffeur/transfer services):
24 hours + = 100% REFUND
Less than 24 hours before scheduled TIME SLOT = No Refund

Please send a cancellation email to info@winetram.co.za including your booking ID on the subject to request a refund.

Tickets are to be collected on the day of your tour. Please be at the Ticket Office +/-20 minutes prior to your departure time.

Please take note that pets are not permitted on the tour.

WhenThe service runs Mondays - Sundays except for the 24th, 25th and 31st of December and the 1st of January. Please note this might be subject to change on short notice.

WhereThe tour embarks and disembarks from the Franschhoek Terminal. Corner of Main Road and Cabriere Street, Franschhoek 7690 Where to Park? Parking available at the Franschhoek Terminal.

WeatherBoth the tram and tram-bus are fairly well protected from the rain but on the rare occasion the service may be cancelled due to weather conditions or mechanical problems without notice in which case full refunds will be issued.

What to WearFor a pleasant journey, we kindly request that all our guests wear suitable footwear while travelling with us. Comfortable clothes and shoes that are good for walking will enhance your experience. Moreover, when it's chilly outside, we advise dressing warmly since our vehicles have open blinds and windows (though they are enclosed on rainy days).

Notes

Please note all our tours are not wheelchair friendly as the vehicles are all safari-type vehicles. All clients travelling with us need to be mobile due to stairs in all vehicles as well as accessibility at the wine estates.
