THE EXPERIENCE & HIGHLIGHTS
• Depart from the Franschhoek Terminal at 10:30 am.
• Step aboard the iconic Franschhoek Wine Tram for a scenic tram ride, where a carefree day of wine and food awaits.
• Begin your journey with a wine tasting at the first estate.
• Set off to the second estate to indulge in a carefully crafted two-course meal and wine tasting.
• Conclude your experience with an extensive wine pairing at the third estate.
• Enjoy a ride back to the Franschhoek Terminal.
The tour is strictly a wine-tasting experience and does not host celebration events such as birthdays or bachelor/bachelorette parties as the estates visited are primarily wine-tasting venues and not party venues. In order to properly exercise their duties, the Franschhoek Wine Tram staff members place a legitimate expectation on all guests not to behave in an unacceptably loud, disruptive, offensive, or intoxicated manner. Should any such behaviour be exhibited the Franschhoek Wine Tram reserves its right to suspend or withdraw its services. All vehicles are fitted with CCTV and monitored throughout the service.

Less than 24 hours before scheduled TIME SLOT = No Refund

Tickets are to be collected on the day of your tour. Please be at the Ticket Office +/-20 minutes prior to your departure time.

Please note all our tours are not wheelchair friendly as the vehicles are all safari-type vehicles. All clients travelling with us need to be mobile due to stairs in all vehicles as well as accessibility at the wine estates. Very enjoyable overall and very well organised excursion on a very hot day. Had a very informative guide with us who started the wine drinking on the tram before we'd reached the first vineyard! In a small group of 13 which worked out very well. Enjoyed all three wine tasting stops with the first one at Klein Goederust probably being my personal favourite. The lunch at the second stop, Rickety Bridge, was excellent. The third stop was great too, with lovely chocolates included in the wine tasting. Would definitely recommend to wine lovers. - Neil
We had a great day on the Flavours of the Vine Experience. The vinyards, Klein Goederust, Rickety Ridge and Dieu Done were all beautiful and with a great back story. Excellent experience from start to end. Fantastic guide, wonderful wine farms visited and perfectly co-ordinated. The lunch provided on this experience was perfect and of very good quality. The group we were in was from different parts of the world; this made it very enjoyable and allowed for a very entertaining day. Wonderful day in Franschoek in small party of people with own tram. Enjoyed the wine tasting at two of the vineyards. Our guide for the day Simon was outstanding. Witty, knowledgeable and an excellent host. He really made our trip special. A few grumbles about the less than slick food service and quality of food at Rickety Bridge meant there is room for improvement on this tour but I would definitely recommend if you want a personalised tour with chance to meet other people. - Stephanie
